MBG's Beauty & Style Editor Shares Her Holiday Wish List
My holiday wish list has been either super simple, not very practical, or practically impersonal like a new vacuum or socks, though I'm always happy with the latter. Being that I rarely spend on myself throughout the year, aside from Mother's Day, Christmas is truly a time to ask to be spoiled. So this year, I'm asking for things I've wanted for a while but haven't pulled the plug on actually treating myself.
Trish McEvoy Sexy No. 9 Eau de Parfum
While I've never been a huge parfum person per say, I've been in love with the blend of blackberry buds, rich vanilla, sensuous velvet musk, patchouli, and sandalwood for a good ten years, and to this day I still smile when I smell it. I think it is time to be a real adult and finally make the commitment.
Claire V. Fold Over Clutch
Drooling over this fold over for quite sometime but it wasn't until a complete overhaul and edit of my closet that I took some real consideration into actually getting one. The green crocodile version is classic enough for my taste but fun enough to suit my personality. * Black version shown
Parisian Feather Earrings
These are obnoxiously fun, just like me, and I want them. That's it, nothing else. I just want them.
Women's Dylan Embroidered Heeled Over the Knee Boots
I recently bought a lace up, all black version of this boot for every day because clearly, everyday boots must be bought but I cannot stop staring at this super fun version of the already comfy boots I own. The season sure would be that much brighter.
A Staycation
Sometimes getting away as a mom of three and my work schedule takes a lot of effort and a lot of planning. I would love a weekend staycation that I wouldn't have to plan but if I did, it would go like this: stay at The Talbott Hotel, dinner at my favorite spot, Mirai, a trip to the Art Institute, and of course, a little shopping wouldn't hurt.
